Shock Jock ” Fired” Sean Hannity!

Donations

https://www.paypal.me/enquirynews

Fox News host Sean Hannity’s career began the last place you might expect: on the liberal campus of UC Santa Barbara, where he hosted a shock-jock radio show in which he tore into the news media and offered up flatly wrong theories about AIDS.

It was 1989. Hannity was a 27-year-old college dropout from Long Island when he scored a job at UCSB’s radio station. But, as the Washington Post reported, he was soon fired for offenses that included egging on a guest “who claimed that AIDS was spreading among gay men because they consumed each other’s feces,” and telling a lesbian mother he felt sorry for her child. The details — and what he did next — are the subject of our new “Shoot This Now” podcast, which you can listen on Appleor Spotify or here

After enlisting the American Civil Liberties Union in his fight to return to the college airwaves, Hannity went on to a job in Alabama. The Post reports that Hannity’s official station biography said he “made a proud name for himself by insulting lesbians.”

He would later, of course, go on to criticize the ACLU for what he saw as its liberal bias. But he has expressed regret over the college radio-show comments.
“Almost 30 years ago when I was starting out in radio in my 20s, I interviewed a controversial guest who made several incendiary comments. I was young and stupid with no clue how to do a show. I’m actually very libertarian on social issues and people’s personal lives. I’m now 56 years old and yes, I freely admit the comments in my 20s were ignorant and embarrassing,” Hannity said in a statement.

Hannity’s past homophobic comments are notable today because of the host’s recent feud with Jimmy Kimmel, in which Kimmel insinuated that Hannity was sexually submissive to President Trump. Kimmel apologized, saying: “By lampooning Sean Hannity’s deference to the president, I most certainly did not intend to belittle or upset members of the gay community and to those who took offense, I apologize.”

The Science of Marijuana: How THC Affects the Brain

First published 2011
Some people believe smoking marijuana carries no risks. But scientific research shows that there are risks, especially for teens. Marijuana affects a person’s judgment and can impair his or her ability to drive. For those who use it regularly, it can lead to poor academic performance, or even addiction.

So how does marijuana have such a big impact on a person’s ability to function?

Scientists have asked themselves that question for a long time. And after several decades of research they not only figured out how marijuana works, but scientists also discovered an important communications system in the brain and the body, which they called the endocannabinoid system after the cannabis plant from which marijuana comes.

“Endo”—what?
Understanding the science of marijuana began in the mid-1960s with the identification of THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) as marijuana’s main active ingredient. Twenty years later, scientists identified the sites in the brain and body where marijuana acts and called them cannabinoid (CB) receptors.

Scientists then discovered the body’s own natural chemicals—anandamide and 2-AG (2-arachidonoyl glycerol)—which also act on CB receptors. These chemicals (called cannabinoids), along with their receptors, make up the endocannabinoid (EC) system.

The EC system is found in many areas of the brain, which explains why it affects so many different body functions. Cannabinoids exert their influence by regulating how cells communicate—how they send, receive, or process messages. Cannabinoids act like a type of “dimmer switch,” slowing down communication between cells.

So how does THC affect the EC system?
When someone smokes marijuana, THC gets into the brain rapidly and attaches to cannabinoid receptors. The natural EC system is finely tuned to react appropriately to incoming information. But THC overwhelms the EC system. It prevents the natural chemicals from doing their job properly and throws the whole system off balance.

This is why drugs in the United States should never be legal! Dope, is a gateway drug which leads to other more powerful drugs. And then death .

While strolling around, we kept the run of the moon all the time, and we still kept an eye on her after we got back to the hotel portico.

I had a theory that the gravitation of refraction, being subsidiary to atmospheric compensation, the refrangibility of the earth’s surface would emphasize this effect in regions where great mountain ranges occur, and possibly so even-handed impact the odic and idyllic forces together, the one upon the other, as to prevent the moon from rising higher than 12,200 feet above sea-level. This daring theory had been received with frantic scorn by some of my fellow-scientists, and with an eager silence by others. —Mark Twain, A Tramp Abroad, 1880

Now we have just some basic Definitions, about the word, Fact, Facts, and Theory etc.

Why am I talking about these?

Because, some ideas, things or even action were viewed as facts, truths, but latter to be proven wrong…. people were even put to death for saying things, that were latter proven to be true…..

So beware that you don’t get caught up in your head that your god …..

Another thing I have observed, is that we see something, and at that moment its true but the next moment its not…. example,

If you take a magnet, and place it on the steel, magnet will stick to the steel, but if you heat the steel to a certain temperature, its nolonger attracts the magnet.

This in one situation its true, the next not, we can be fooled…

Truth and Error Or deception, there are people who for no reason, will say or think the earth is flat, or tell God he is not God, know matter what you say or do or show, ……I have meet such people, ….I say away from them, because I at least will believe the truth, and agree etc……

I observed a friend of mine, he would only hear, see, what he believes, so if it were a conservative ideal, or read something that he knows was true, but ignore everything else there, or mock others for there views acting like he knew the truth, …..so keep this in mind…also people see things or experience things differently… so sometimes many people saw different things and are all right…..

I have a great story a mother I met, she was really cool, she could sing had all the rock band equipment. WOW, anyway her some was a pot head, and drank alcohol, got drunk, but his mother would say my son does not do that! She explained away the beer cans, the, pot bong, the actual bag of weed, she never drank, or did drugs, even her son said he did not know why she would not believe it.

Nice lady never lied or anything, that I could see, even when the police came and arrested her son for selling dope, she blamed on one of his friends…..

This is why it is important to know things learn all you can….With that knowledge, it will make you free from many things like stress, etc.

Q: What do you think is a fact or what kinds of theories do you believe in ?

If your not sure about my writings …please read other written articles I have wrote here, and terms definitions, will be in other materials, and may at first seem unrelated to other articles… you may need to read other articles of mine in order to have understanding, also this is in no way substitutes for researching and reading many other peoples works, to have a rounded clear opinions … Mark A.
