1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.
What color of hair did Adam Eve and Cain and Able have? Blonde?
Temple marriage none done yet? No eternal marriage? No church houses temples etc. No tithing? No goats sacrifices.
Adam had gotten a man from the Lord. I am assuming Lord God. What did Adam mean by that, spiritually or the baby was half man half God? The baby had a spirit from God but flesh from man? Who taught Adam and eve child birth?
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
One keeper of sheep one tiller of the ground. Could this implying one weaker than the other? One more gay then the other. Tending sheep would be easy and hard work tilling the ground? However if it were cows not sheep you would be a strong man. Or the OX ….
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.
First offering unto the Lord. Lord didn’t have respect to Cains offerings why?
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Second offering to the Lord. Or first to gather with Cain.and why did the Lord have respect to Abel’s offerings and not Cains? And how did Abel know that the firstlings of his flock wold please the Lord? Had they been taught the atonement of Christ?
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Cain had no respect to his offering, became angry so why did Lord had no respect for Cains offerings?
6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
Why was he upset ?

Origin Middle English contenance, from Anglo-French cuntenance, contenance, from Medieval Latin continentia, from Latin, restraint, from continent-, continens, present participle of continēre to hold together — more at contain.
First known use: 13th century
Interesting that Abel tended sheep!sheep become symbolic later on in history.
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
So this is the first time birth first rules over others first. So Cain being the older would be the ruler over Able because Cain was born first?
Also if Cain does well will he not be accepted? I assume yes.
He didn’t feel he would be accepted.
Sin lieth at the door.
Unto thee shall be his desire
Shall Rule over him.
Second ruler remember Adam rules over Eve now Cain wanted to rule over Able. I guess it’s human nature to rule over others.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
Cain talked with Abel
Then in the field
Rose up against Abel
Slew him
First murder.
Wounder how he killed him?
9 ¶ And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?
Lord where is Abel
Cain I know not
Am I my brothers keeper
10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.
What hast thou done?
Voice brothers blood crieth from the ground.
Why would the Lord say this? Blood crieth from the ground? Is the spirit still in the body ? Is their no Spirit? Because Lord God knows all things knew what had happened? Why not say the spirit of thy brother has come back to me? For example. Almost as if there is no spirit or it says with the body or the whole body crieth to lord from the ground as it does. And the spirit is already gone?
11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;
Cursed from the earth
12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
Will not yield unto thee her strength
A fugitive and a vagabond thou be
In the earth.
Roaming from one place to another.
I noticed it said in the earth, not on the earth?
13 And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Driven me out from the face of the earth;
From they face shall be hid
Be a fugitive a vagabond in the earth
Slay me.
Now this is unreal , driven out from the face of the Earth, does that mean Cain lives under ground somewhere on this Earth?
15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
Whosoever slayeth Cain vengeance taken on on him sevenfold.
And Lord put a Mark on Cain.
So is Cain still alive or just died of old age? And did this mark and curse affect his children offspring? Was the mark hereditary or only Cain had it. I think the mark was not hereditary because the mark was for Cain ” lest any should find him should kill him.” To me it would read your seed is marked but my argument is this was for Cain not his offspring. So children of their parents can’t be responsible for what their parents transgressions are or were.
16 ¶ And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
So here Cain went to the land of Nod on the east of Eden. In a cave?
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
Cain knew his wife. Where did his wife come from? From Adam and Eve or there children? Or where there other people living on the earth now?
City of Enoch where did they get they people to make such a city?
18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
Cain wife unknown
Enoch
Irad,Mehujael,Methusael,Lamech,
I assume these are all men ?
19 ¶ And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
Lamech took to wife’s , were they from Adam and Eves or from Cains ?
20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
Now Cains relative’s become more than farmers. Now they raise Cattle.
21 And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
Now they can play instruments, music harp and organ. Worlds first .
22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
Zillah not sure if she was from Cain or Adams roots. She bare Tubal-cain an instructor of brass and iron !
And Tubal Cain had a sister Naamah .
23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
Another murder ? Lamech …. Wonder did he receive a mark as Cain did? For murder?
24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
So Cains mark could not be hereditary otherwise this scripture would be wrote different. This scripture acts as though Lamech dosen’t have Cains curse nor Cains mark. But fears he will be avenged seventy sevenfold. He doesn’t mention that he has the mark nor Cain curse which I find strange.
25 ¶ And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Adam and Eves third son Seth, another seed , so men where called seeds or seed lines. DNA
26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
Prayer began ” men to call upon the
Name of the Lord. Here they left out lord God why? A another different person? Or God?
